Traditional Filipino food and friendly staff. If you come here often they treat you like family.

I just had the chicken combo and boy am I glad I did! I haven't had fried chicken this good since my grandma cooked it for me in 1983. The tenderness and flavor of this dish could be likened to a profound symphonic experience, or an amazing journey! I will certainly be returning for this great value.

Excellent authentic Filipino cuisine. Loved every bite and excellent atmosphere.

When we first went in, we noticed it had a homey feel to it. The food was decently priced and fair. When the food came out, you could tell it was gonna be good. Turns out it was pretty delicious and the servings were plentiful. Overall a pretty good place to eat in Portland.

The home-iest Filipino Restaurant I've ever been in. I took my friend here for his introduction to Filipino Food, and I am so happy I took him here. He definitely got the Filipino experience. Good food and good service! They really cared for us, and you can see that the food is made with love even if it's simple to the eyes. Best Leche Flan of all the Filipino Restaurants I've been in.

Pretty traditional Filipino cuisine. A little expensive but not overpriced.

This lil hold in the wall restaurant was worth the search. The crispy pata was amazing. The service was friendly. It was super hot the day we went so having access to not only ice water but ice cold soda was the what we needed. I'd drive 4 hrs again for a meal.

Home style. Not fancy, just good food. Like going to your Filipino neighbors house when Mom is visiting from the islands! Truly authentic recipes and the prices are decent as well. Call ahead for take out and I think they do several of the delivery services. Very homey and fine for families. No lines, well made honest food.

Such amazing food. It’s been so hard to find an authentic Filipino restaurant where I can eat and feel like my nanay cooked it. One of the only other places I’ve found was operated by a white man trying to mansplain to me (a clear Filipina) what lumpia is. This place is the real deal. We ordered the beef kare kare, chicken adobo, pork lumpia, and halo halo. All of the flavors were spot on. Good food portions and GREAT customer service! This was truly a treat.

Total mom & pops joint. I felt like a member of my Filipino family cooked for me. Priced a little high but worth it. I'd go back quarterly to get my fix.

Always come here whenever I crave for Filipino food. Their tortang talong (eggplant) is good as well as their garlic rice.

Wonderful staff and excellent food. I'm so glad my sister and brother in law got me a gift card to this great resturant last Christmas. Who would've known that less than a year later I'd be working across the street from this place? Not me, but now I recommended Tambayan to my coworkers and love working so close to a great place to eat.

I go to this nice place from time to time! This is my favorite place to pass a nice evening. I visit this spot frequently. The food is of high quality, the crew is helpful and the cost is fair. I like meeting in this spot for a decent meal.

If you love Filipino dishes, this is the place to go. Food is freshly prepared and delicious. Place is clean, service is fast and friendly, It is a family owned restaurant and service is rendered by family members. And you are treated like their family. Highly suggested for fine dining with friendly atmosphere.

Great tortang talong! We actually ordered more food to go so we could enjoy all the delicious food the next day!

Ordered to go food, my card was accepted, but I didn't get a confirmation email. I called and it went straight to voicemail even though facebook, google, and the message on the phone said they should be open. I left a message asking that they please not charge my card since they're unexpectedly closed and I'll edit my review if they call me back.

Definitely a spot worth stopping over, the food is fantastic and well prepared, the prices are reasonable and it is regularly well kept here. Highly recommended.

Phillipino food palabok and bangus for husband. 10 dollars each. Reasonable, clean and fast service. Closed on mondays and closed for Easter tomorrow. Got I'd homemade style food but original phillipino good. Highly recommend!

Pretty authentic food. The Halo Halo was my favorite dish of what we ordered. Probably one of the best Halo Halo we have had, even after staying in the Philippines. The lechon was good and crispy and so was the bangus. The service was fantastic and very friendly.

Holy cow. Everything was outrageously good. Tokwat baboy being my favorite dish of all time. This Halo Halo was exceptional, a nice chunk of dreamy flan made me order a large to go, only to eat half of it in the restaurant. Garlic rice! Calamansi juice. Pork belly. Do it. Eat here.

Super thrilled with this place. I was just in town visiting my boyfriend and I haven't had homemade style Filipino food since leaving home for college. I was born in the Philippines and grew up eating Filipino food. Tambayan Restaurant was authentic as it gets!! Might I add great service!! I went here twice during my visit and I KNOW I'll be back. Highly recommend!

Adobo was kinda tough.

Very elegant and welcoming spot. They offer generous meals and for inexpensive prices. I enjoyed the food a lot and the staff members were very personal and informative. Will definitely recommend this spot.
